Gateway Fellowship, SBC of Gilbert, Arizona is prayerfully seeking a senior pastor called by God who faithfully preaches and teaches the Word of God. A senior pastor who is enthusiastic about equipping the saints and evangelism to grow our church family and impact our local community.

The senior pastor is responsible for providing spiritual and administrative leadership for the church using his skills and being led by God’s call upon his ministry. This calling is to provide proclamation and pastoral care in meeting the needs of the church and community.

Qualifications:
Biblical/Spiritual: A man filled with The Holy Spirit, led by God to preach the Word. Leads in accordance with “The Baptist Faith and Message 2000”.

Education/Experience: Master’s degree of Divinity or Theology. Minimum of 5 years of Pastoral experience required including experience as a lead, associate, student, or worship pastor. Experience preferred concerning the general workings of staff and budgets of a church.

Preaching/Teaching: Excellence in sermon preparation. Dedication in accurately interpreting and teaching The Word of God. Accountable to God, self, and to the church. Speaks and acts on the courage of Biblical convictions.
Loving Shepherd: Strong personal prayer life. Compassionate humble leader who is involved with the missions, activities, and ministries of the church. Living a life of example; 1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9, 1 Peter 5:1-4.
