Bay Harbour Church of God in Brunswick, GA is seeking a full time Children’s Pastor/Director.

Responsibilities include:
– Provide a strategy that accompanies the vision of the church to develop a thriving children’s ministry (birth-5th grade).
– Recruit, develop, equip and oversee volunteer teams for Sunday mornings (9:00 & 11:00) and Wednesday Evenings (7:00).
– Create and organize along with other department heads, outreach events (Fall Festival, VBS, etc.).
– Ensure check-in and safety procedures remain current and followed.
– Coordinate childcare for occasional church-wide events.

Qualifications:
– Love for Jesus and passion to connect with children and their families.
– Strong interpersonal skills to work with not only kids but volunteers and parents as well.
– Must be able to work on a team while assisting with other ministries with in the church.
– 2-3 years experience in Children’s Ministry as staff or high-level volunteer.
– Staff members’ family is expected to be a contributing part of church life (attending, serving, etc.)

Must be willing to follow the vision and direction of the Lead Pastor.
