    Job Description

    Role

    New Hope is seeking a Kids Pastor/Leader who is enthusiastic about connecting kids with God and
    each other in fun and creative ways! This part-time career opportunity is designed for candidates with prior experience who can swiftly transition to full-time employment as the ministry grows.

    The candidate must possess a clear understanding of the mission and core values of New Hope and
    be prepared to lead others in their fulfillment of them. A passionate attitude and sense of vision for seeing children connect with God is vital for this ministry.

    The specifics of the job description entail creating a culturally relevant environment that would be fun and engaging for children. The qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an ability to grow the community and connect in meaningful ways with kids, parents and volunteers.

    Coordination of programming including Sunday and mid-week events, along with summer and special event activities are included in this role.

    Required Skills

    A passionate attitude and sense of vision for seeing children connect with God is vital for this ministry. The candidate must be energetic, fun-loving, and self-motivated with the spiritual maturity to support the growth of a vibrant Kids Ministry.

    Qualifications

    • This person must exemplify the leadership and character qualities in 1 Timothy 3, being fully aligned with the message, mission and ministry strategy of New Hope.
    • They must be energetic, fun-loving, and self-motivated with the spiritual maturity to support the growth of a vibrant Kids Ministry.
    • Pastoral training through a recognized Bible college or seminary preferred.
    • Demonstrated leadership ability with kids and a love and understanding of children as well.

    Salary

    Salary will be based on previous ministry and work experience and educational accomplishments.

    Working days will vary based on programs in place – Sunday mornings and Tuesday evenings are a
    priority.

    Education Required

    Pastoral training through a recognized Bible college or seminary is preferred.

    Experience Required

    Demonstrated leadership ability with kids and a love and understanding of children as well.
