Overview of Position:

This position is designed for a female between the ages of 19-24 who have a desire to help students in Middle school and High school grow in their walk with the Lord. The youth ministry is full of students who grew up in the church and those who are new to the aspect of church. The grades are 7th-12th and as an intern, one would receive the opportunity to be in relationship with all age groups. The intern would help lead Sunday night events, weekly events, and receive funds for One- on-one discipleship
meetings with students. The intern would report to the Girls Ministry Youth Director of the church and would work under her leadership and supervision for the whole summer as well as receive opportunities to meet and get to know the Pastors and other staff members of the church.

Responsibilities:
– Help lead all summer youth events (Sunday, Wednesday, and some other special events).
– Help lead a special Bible study for either middle school or high school boys or girls.
– Meet with the youth Director weekly.
– Adhere to the ESPC Youth Rules of Conduct.
– Go to both Ridge Haven and RYM summer conferences with the youth ministry.
– Commit to personal growth and knowledge of God throughout the whole summer.

The Youth Intern candidate will provide a(n):
– Evidence of Church membership and church involvement.
– A cover letter explaining a little about yourself (phone and email included) and why you
desire to work with youth at ESPC.
– 3 References: One of the 3 must be an Elder, Pastor or staff member at the church you are a current member of.
– Provide answers to the questions found at the bottom of this document.

Hours, Pay and Accommodations:
– During the Internship one will work a full 40hr work with. The intern must understand that some weeks will be less than 40hrs and some will go over 40hrs.
– The Intern will start work on June 1st and will end August 1st
– The Intern will be paid $3,000 for the whole summer.
– If needed, housing will be provided and paid for by the church. This will include two meals a day provided by the host home.
