Job Overview

The Assistant Pastor will serve as part of a collaborative team of motivated ministers under the leadership of the lead Pastor. The Assistant Pastor will compliment the staff by focusing on the discipleship of the church body and connecting people. Our church emphasizes sincere relationships – first with Jesus Christ and secondly with one another in the church. We view our presence in the downtown area of Kirkland as a light in a darkening place. This requires our Pastors to be students of the culture as well as the Word. A minister at Lakeside needs to know what they believe, how to effectively communicate it, and equally important live by it. Living and ministering in the Pacific Northwest generally and Kirkland in particularly will require maturity, enthusiasm, and a creative approach to ministry.
