The First Reformed Protestant Dutch Church of Fishkill, NY is seeking a full-time interim pastor for a 2-year (minimum) contract. This is a well-established 300+ year old traditional reformed church with a good financial status and significant ties to the community. The congregation is small but is composed of a solid core of volunteers. We are committed to serving those in need both locally and abroad.

Expectations for a Full Time Interim Pastor
Rolls & Responsibilities
Weekly Sunday preaching, special seasonal services, baptisms & funerals
Bible studies
Represent the church in community events
Visit homebound & hospital visits
Oversee committees / consistory participation
Oversee staffing:
– Children’s Community Services (pre-school)
– Fishkill Food Pantry
– Church secretary
– Music director

Availability
In office =me, hours etc. at your discretion with 2 full days off
– One day off Saturday; subject to change with scheduled special events
– One working day for sermon prep; not necessarily “in office” day
Overall availability should be business hours weekdays/ half day Sunday

Salary (for 2-year contract)
$65-80k with additional $5k benefit for what the candidate sees fit.
PTO negotiable
