    Job Description

    Are you a dynamic and dedicated individual with a passion for teaching and preaching God’s Word? We invite you to join our warm and welcoming community as a Preaching Minister at the Claypool Hill Church of Christ in Claypool Hill, Virginia.

    Responsibilities:

    – Deliver engaging and spiritually enriching sermons during Sunday traditional worship services and other weekly gatherings.

    – Provide biblically sound teaching and guidance to help our congregation grow in their faith and relationship with God.

    – Lead and participate in Bible studies, prayer meetings, and other small group activities to foster spiritual growth and community.

    – Provide pastoral care and support to members in times of need, including hospital visits, home visits, counseling, and prayer.

    – Collaborate with church leadership and staff to plan and organize various ministry events, outreach programs, and community initiatives.

    – Foster a spirit of unity, love, and fellowship within the congregation, promoting a welcoming environment for all.

    Qualifications:

    – Strong commitment to the teachings of the Bible and a deep understanding of Restoration Movement doctrine and practices.

    – Bible College training.

    – Proven experience in preaching and teaching, with the ability to communicate effectively to diverse audiences.

    – Strong interpersonal and pastoral care skills, demonstrating empathy and compassion..

    – A heart for community outreach and the ability to engage with individuals from various backgrounds.

    – Demonstrated commitment to personal spiritual growth and ongoing learning.
