    Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Worship Leader with a vision to help grow the church. 2024 will be somewhat of a relaunch phase as we branch out to engage the city for Jesus’ name. We are looking to change and grow our worship team.

    Job description

Key Responsibility Area #1 – Congregational Worship: Lead the congregation in worship with strong vocals and/or lead guitar or piano. Engage the congregation by providing the necessary energy and presence to lead an assembled group of people. Influence and support the musical direction each week with regards to song selection and elements of liturgy and theology, in coordination with the Lead Pastor and elders. Develop slides in Pro-Presenter/easy worship with worship lyrics so the congregation can participate and follow along.

Key Responsibility Area #2 – Team Scheduling & Development Recruit: develop and schedule a weekly team that makes the best use of church’s musical talent. Work with our existing worship team. Use Planning Center and other digital tools to schedule and communicate with team members throughout the week. Recruit, audition, develop, support, and encourage worship team members. Hold weekly practices and rehearsals so that team members are prepared. Coordinate volunteer schedules for participation in weekly services and special services like Christmas Eve, Easter and other events.

Please submit your personal resume along with a high-quality video of you leading worship via the attached email address.

Resumes without video will not be considered. We are open to expand the position based on gifting and time availability.

Worship Ethos: We are seeking to expand our worship style to include a larger variety of music and worship styles while yet continuing to value traditional hymns and theologically sound, singable music.

    • Must be an experienced musician proficient in leading vocally with guitar or piano.

    • Must have proven experience in leading music in a worship context.
