    Key Responsibilities:
    Our next lead pastor will serve as the spiritual overseer of our church, ensuring spiritual and pastoral care and leadership for our congregation in the following ways:

    – Spiritual Leadership
    o Prayerfully seeking God’s leading in fulfilling FCC’s mission and vision and courageously leading the church forward.
    o Primary provider of biblical teaching and preaching.
    o Oversee all church ministries and programs.
    o Be an example of godly character and humility

    – Pastoral Care
    o Ensure pastoral care (personally and through a care team) for the members of the congregation and community.
    o Model and teach strong interpersonal skills in connecting with others, leading our church to be a warm, loving community.

    – Developing Leaders
    o Disciple and mentor people in their respective ministry gifts and calling.
    o Inspire and build teams, being a person of faith and positivity.

    – Administration
    o Has strong organizational skills to lead and manage the administrative needs of the church, including financial management, budgeting, and day-to-day operations.

    – Community Engagement
    o Personally models and encourages the church in ongoing community engagement, service projects, and positive relationships with community leaders, businesses, and organizations.

    – Personal and Professional Development
    o Fosters and models a personal devotional and prayer life with the Lord.
    o Is a continual ‘learner’ and student, committed to ongoing learning and professional development.
    o Is engaged with ongoing coaching and mentoring from other leaders (eg. District coach support).

    Qualifications:
    • Must be credentialed or able to be credentialed with the PAOC.
    • Clear and evident calling into pastoral ministry leadership.

    Compensation:
    • Position is full-time. Salary and benefits to be negotiated.
