Job Overview

Calvary Kearney in Kearney, Nebraska is seeking a worship leader who will help our church make Jesus non-ignorable in Kearney and to the ends of the earth. This leader will love making joyful passionate disciples of Jesus as they develop a volunteer team of musicians and vocalists. They will lead the doxology of the church to fit with the theology of the preaching and teaching through the use of both contemporary music and ancient hymns. Our church is one service of multi-generational members and new disciples. This worship leader will help our congregation to sing together as one voice to the glory of God. This position has the potential to grow along with the needs of our church.

Gifting:

The worship leader should have a gift for music and also for leadership, as confirmed by others.

Qualifications:

• Must become an active member.
• Must continue cultivating abilities as a musical worship leader.
• Must be able to recruit volunteers to serve in worship ministry.
• Must display Christ-like servant leadership and joyful, passionate pursuit of Jesus.
