The Worship Leader is a part-time position tasked with planning, preparing for, and leading a weekly worship service.

Qualifications

–        A testimony of a life that trusts in and is walking with Jesus Christ.

–        Leads with humility, expressing a love for Christ and the church.

–        Has experience planning, preparing, and leading worship services.

–        A heart to lead people in worship and not just lead a worship service.

–        Musically and vocally proficient.

–        Able to work with and lead a variety of musicians, including those who have been classically trained.

Responsibilities

–        Coordinate with Pastor to select songs appropriate for each service.

–        Distribute music to musicians and vocalists each week.

–        Schedule volunteer vocalists and instrumentalists through Planning Center.

–        Weekly mid-week rehearsal (60 minutes)

–        Weekly Sunday morning worship services (60-minute rehearsal at 8 am and 60-minute service at 10:30 am)

–        Work with Tech team regarding CCLI, Song Select, slides, and Pro Presenter.

Compensation: This is a part-time position paid on an hourly basis. Compensation is based on prior experience, education, and skills. The position is based on quality completion of the assigned responsibilities. Expect between 10-12 hours per week.
