    Job Description

    Qualifications:

    Has a mature and personal relationship with the Triune God

    Is an inspiring and challenging Bible-based preacher and teacher

    Has authentic personal humility in relationships and demonstrates a willingness to learn and to grow

    Will nurture others in their life of discipleship and encourage them to share the Gospel in their own lives

    Is approachable and friendly and attracts and draws in new Covenant Partners

    Be able to foster an atmosphere of reconciliation among Covenant Partners in light of recent history and circumstances around resignation of former Senior Pastor/Head of Staff while focusing on the future

    Builds relationships to connect people to one another

    Energize the church to live as an involved ECO congregation

    Provides compassionate and thoughtful pastoral counseling and care

    Adheres to the Essential Tenets of ECO and is active in the denomination

    Possesses strong administrative skills to supervise staff and moderate Session meetings

    Has a Master of Divinity with a Doctorate of Ministry preferred

    Has at least 6 years ministerial experience Preach. Proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ from the pulpit and live it out daily.

    Teach. Prepare for and teach Sunday School when needed, Wednesday night teaching series and other classes (I Tim 4:13).

    ECO: Lead FPC-F as an ECO congregation by attending and promoting involvement in Presbytery,
    Pastor Covenant Groups, Presbytery committees, and National Gatherings. Participate in mentored
    ministry or internships as directed by ECO.

    Evaluate Strategic Plan and support it or lead a review and update
