Bethany Presbyterian Church in Loves Park is seeking a Full or Part-Time Pastor to lead our congregation.

About our next Pastor:

Bethany church is looking for an ordained ECO Pastor or Commissioned Lay Pastor, who subscribes to the Essential Tenets of ECO, which embraces our belief in the Lord Jesus Christ. If not already ordained, we offer financial aid with completing ordination in ECO. We offer a compensation package for Full-time employment which includes salary, housing, professional expenses and allowances, medical insurance for pastor and family, pension, and vacation time off. A compensation package similar to the Full-time package for bi-vocational pastors, or someone looking for Part-time  employment could also be an option.

We seek a leader who leads by example, believes in and preaches the word of God, and is involved in
many aspects of the church. We believe it is necessary for a successful ministry and growing the church as a whole. It is important that whoever is called to be our pastor is a skilled orator with the ability to strengthen our faith in God though uplifting and relevant sermons. We anticipate finding a pastor who will be actively involved in the community and can become a vested member of our church family. We seek a pastor who will be full of energy, someone who enthusiastically empowers parishioners to be contributing members of our Christian community. The pastor needs to discern the gifts and talents of the congregation and help nurture, motivate and guide them into their gifted ministries.
