St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church is a socially diverse and theologically progressive community of faith, inviting all people to seek a life of spiritual growth grounded in worship, prayer, study, service, and fellowship.

We seek an Assistant Rector to join with our clergy team. The clergy work collaboratively in pastoral care, contemplative leadership, and formation for all ages. We also share liturgical leadership in a parish with diverse styles of worship. This position is specifically geared to increasing our ministry footprint in our neighborhood. The Assistant Rector can expect to work with the Rector, Associate Rector, and Vestry to develop ministry projects related to:

• Supporting and growing our outreach ministries
• Youth
• Young Adults
• Developing spiritual support and community for families served by our preschool (particularly those who are not already part of our congregation)
• Spiritual Seekers
• Building our presence among Spanish speakers and the latino Community.
  • Proficiency in Spanish language and Latino Ministry is a strong preference
