Biblical faith with intellectual integrity and freedom that both comforts and challenges the members of the church while also encouraging community involvement and ecumenical dialogue. Weatherly encourages traditional Baptist distinctives such as the priesthood of the Believer.

The Senior Pastor will plan and lead Worship, help guide the Life and Ministry of the Congregation and represent WHBC in the community. Candidates should have a talent for Pastoral Care, promote genuine relationships within the church and encourage spiritual growth with intellectual integrity. Candidates are expected to model an authentic Christian life that exhibits a genuine love for all of God’s Creation, the WHBC congregation and those that live within our community. Additionally, the Senior Pastor will manage the Church Staff and should possess strong managerial skills. The position requires a Seminary degree.
