St. Thomas’, Rochester is seeking an Associate Priest, who will fully share in the sacramental, pastoral, and priestly ministry and life of the church. The Associate Priest will collaborate with and support the Rector, the staff, and lay leaders. The Associate Rector will report to the Rector. They will help plan liturgy, lead worship and Christian Formation. A Priest with two years’ experience is preferable but not required.

St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church is in Rochester, New York, bordering the town of Brighton. Our location is one foot in the city with its diversity and urban concerns, and one foot in a religiously diverse suburb. St. Thomas’ takes seriously the call to discipleship through Bible study, book studies and learning through fellowship and dialogue. We are a learning community willing to take risks, try new things and find ways to partner with neighbors to work for justice and to be bearers of love in the world.

St. Thomas’ will offer a competitive salary, full SECA Reimbursement (15.3%), a portion of health insurance, and pension.
