    Job Description

    Purpose of the Job:
    The Chief of Staff serves as a vital member of the TWC Leadership team. This senior staff member leads and supports the overall culture and community of the ministry. The Chief of Staff is a people oriented leader objectively communicating with TWC Executives, Staff and members of the TWC orbital sphere. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, facilitation of staff and staffing needs (to include human resource initiatives) innovative and forward thinking strategy development and design, troubleshooting and managing through influence leadership.

    Experience and Knowledge Required:
    Masters Degree in Business Administration or equivalent work experience
    Managerial experience required
    Human Resource experience preferred
    Ability to handle multiple projects effectively
    Excellent verbal and written communications skills
    Excellent interpersonal skills
    Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
    Experience in problem solving
    Solid reporting and analytical skills
    Maintain a positive attitude in every interaction with staff & teams
    Exceptional time management, organizational and prioritization skills with a particular emphasis on follow-through and attention to detail
    Must be a strong communicator with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
    Commitment to the vision of The Worship Center and the Great Commission

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
    Serve as liaison between staff, executives, senior leaders and CEO regarding ministry culture, employee well-being, project updates and other general business matters.
    Assist with internal Human Resource responsibilities while managing the outsourced

    HR partnership.
    Oversee daily operations through collaboration with the CEO and executive team members.
    Administrative tasks including, but not limited to o Managing the ministry calendar, generating general correspondence at the direction of senior management. o Maintain hard copy & electronic files o Assists with the planning and coordination of company-wide employee meetings and events (including travel, lodging, etc.)
    Build and develop relationships with all employees for increased efficiency and effective responsiveness into existing operations.
    Help identify and define new operational strategies,
    Work with CEO and executives on special projects and reports
    Handles inquiries and action plans
    Preparation and dissemination of communications
    Prepare and facilitate senior management meetings, agendas, action items and follow-ups.
    Ensure all staff issues are addressed properly, efficiently and judiciously, and keep track of progress until resolved

    Other Duties and Responsibilities:
    All other duties as assigned
    Full commitment to the ministry
    Position requires ongoing development
    Position requires hours outside normal business hours
    Position may require extended work hours
    Position may require travel

    Physical Demands:
    The ability and willingness to drive personal vehicle or a TWC vehicle to any of the ministry’s multiple locations.

    Spiritual Expectation:
    To be a Tither at TWC (Leviticus 27:30) i. At The Worship Center we practice tithing for the support of Christ’s Body, the church as God commands. We recognize that giving 10% of our income is the biblical standard of giving
    Small Groups (Acts 20:20) ii. Small Groups are at the heart of TWC. Real life change happens in the context of relationships – small groups. In the Bible they worshiped in the temple but ministry happened house to house. Small groups at TWC take place during 3 semesters of the year. You are expected to lead a small group or participate in a small group at least once annually.
    Attending Service and Bible Study (Hebrews 10:25, 2 Timothy 2:15, Luke 10:38-42)
    – Your Spiritual Growth is the number one priority. What you do as part of the TWC Ministry Team should be fueled by your ongoing spiritual development. Work can never take a backseat to Worship. Worship and Bible Study are non-negotiable for all TWC Ministry Team Members.
