Rolling Hills Baptist Church seeks a full-time person to lead members in worship, and to enhance RHBC communications and online outreach.
*Oversee and plan all music for worship services.
*Lead and equip praise team members.
*Oversee church-wide communications.
*Serve on Staff Leadership Team.
*Participate with other ministries for occasional outreach and fellowship events.
*Oversee the annual budget for Worship/Media areas.
Technical Requirements. In conjunction with Senior Pastor and Tech Director, assure that all components of the worship service are planned and prepared each week for worship services, so that Christ-centered worship is experienced. The primary goal of this position is not performance, but providing an environment that draws the entire congregation into worship. Experience in leading worship is required, as well as the ability to read music and play a musical instrument. A/V expertise, and knowledge of technology and worship software is essential. Experience in graphic design is a plus.
Pastoral Requirements. To recruit (as needed), disciple, lead, and equip all who participate in the area of worship. Must have ability to build teams as well as shepherd and nurture volunteers. Must also possess a “shepherd’s heart”, and be comfortable sharing the gospel, making disciples, visiting and praying with members (as needed).
Communications requirements. To oversee print and online communications, in order to make disciples, enhance community, and strengthen RHBC’s online presence. This will include: posting daily on all social media platforms, weekly updates of website, and producing weekly announcements for worship services.
Personal Requirements. This position requires someone who demonstrates a deep personal relationship to Jesus Christ, and exemplifies a victorious Christian life; one who is comfortable communicating and teaching the Word of God; a team player who works well with others to fulfill God’s mission for His church, and someone who participates in other aspects of church life as a 4G member—(Gathering in worship, Growing in Word, Giving of tithes, Going in service).
This position requires a person who is comfortable in a ministry setting that is low-directive, yet fast-paced. It requires a self-starter who is forward-thinking, and is energized working with people, and able to make positive contributions to the mutual work of a ministry leadership team.
Salary—$52,000, depending on experience.
Responsible to Senior Pastor.
