    We are a beach community in the panhandle of Florida searching for a part-time student director. We are a growing church even amidst the craziness of this past year with COVID and are hoping this will eventually turn into a full-time position as we grow. This position would run our middle school and high school ministry areas.

    Average Hours/Week: 10-15 (40+ Hours during camps)

    As the Student Director, you will lead the preparation and organization of our student ministry for middle and high school students. You win when all the student environments are prepared and strategically equipped to accomplish our mission of leading students to an authentic faith in Jesus.

    Responsibilities

        Plan & Prepare.

    • Oversee the preparation of curriculum for all areas of student ministry.
    • Assist in evaluating and developing systems to better serve our teams.
    • Develop a team to plan camps, retreats, and milestones as necessary.
    • Implement solid planning systems and processes.
    • Assist in planning events and fun days for our student environments.

       Equip.

    • Understand that your top priority is recruiting, training, and deploying volunteers.
    • Serve as the chief recruiter ensuring maximum number of volunteers on teams.
    • Oversee training sessions and new volunteer onboarding.
    • Manage weekly and monthly volunteer schedules.
    • Implement the student ministry strategy to consistently equip volunteers to succeed every week.
    • If possible, participate in weekly staff meetings and planning retreats.
