    Job Description

The First Christian Church of Noble is prayerfully seeking a candidate to join our ministry team.  Our current staff consists of a full-time Senior Minister, and a full-time Children’s Minister. Our Youth/Worship Minister of nearly 10 years will be leaving in July to follow God’s call into a new ministry. We are now seeking the right candidate to join our staff. We are primarily looking for someone who will be able to lead our congregation in Worship. They will work with the Senior Minister to develop the order of service, songs, and overall theme for our Sunday morning service. In addition they will help plan and execute special services including Nights of Worship, Good Friday Service, Easter Sunrise Service, and Christmas Eve Service. The candidate will also work with a ministry team composed of elders, deacons, Senior Minister, Children’s Minister and congregational members. We desire a self-motivated, energetic, worship leader who is both vocally and instrumentally talented and who has the capacity to lead with Christ-like service, can equip our church family to be disciples and to go make disciples, and has a heart for our mission of “Loving God. Loving Noble”. Applicants for this position should philosophically agree that ministry is not a job; it is a holistic lifestyle.

However we want to make sure we are hiring the right person, and not just hiring for a position. That is why we believe this position could be either a part-time or full-time position. To be considered for the full-time position, an applicant must possess all of the characteristics we are looking for in a Worship Minister, but we will also look at their gifts and abilities, looking to see how those other gifts fit in with our current staff. Responsibilities would be added based upon the needs of the congregation, the community, and how we can most effectively do Kingdom work.

The salary for this position is based on experience. The benefits also include a cell phone allowance and paid vacation.  Experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Ministry or Music is preferred. Interested applicants should send their resume along with a Statement of Faith via email.
