    Job Description

    Position Overview
    As the Family Ministry Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the spiritual formation of our members, from Nursery to Adult programs. Your responsibilities will include overseeing education, curriculum development, and hospitality for events and celebrations. You’ll work closely with our Lead Pastor, Worship Coordinator and a team of dedicated volunteers.

    Core Responsibilities
    1. Collaboration with Lead Pastor and Worship Coordinator
    o Regularly meet with the Lead Pastor and Worship Coordinator to discuss ministry needs for children, youth, and adults.
    o Plan and implement programs aligned with Jubilee’s overarching ministry goals.

    2. Staff Team Member Responsibilities
    o Prepare for and actively participate in staff meetings to foster team building.
    o Cultivate trusting relationships by supporting and encouraging fellow team members.
    o Recognize and leverage personality differences to enhance team dynamics.
    o Provide constructive feedback directly to other staff members.
    o Handle differences discreetly within the team and present a unified front in public.
    o Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive matters.

    3. Ministering to the Jubilee CRC Community
    o Recruit, equip, and support volunteer leaders for various programs.
    o Develop and monitor cohesive programs and curriculum consistent with Jubilee Fellowship CRC’s Vision and Mission.
    o Implement best practices in ministry for all age groups.
    o Establish and maintain a mentorship program for youth and young adults.
    o Offer counsel and a listening ear to youth and parents in partnership with the Youth/Young Adult Elder.
    o Maintain casual but intentional contact with community members.

    Qualifications
    • A passion for nurturing spiritual growth and fostering a sense of belonging within the congregation.
    • Strong organizational and communication skills.
    • Experience in volunteer management and curriculum development.
    • Available to be physically present at Jubilee on Sundays and Wednesdays for services and programs.
    • Demonstrate a Christian faith.
    • Be a person of prayer and student of the Bible.                                                                                                         • Knowledge of best practices in ministry for all age groups.
    • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive matters with care.
